The menu featured two types of Burotis – Masoori Chicken or Gunpowder Chickpeas both served with Rajah Rice and Indian Accompaniments. The sides included a sweet and tender charred corn on the cob. The meal deal included a Buroti with either an Indian Fresca or side. During lunch 109 meal deals, 29 Burotis individually, 38 Indian Fresca drinks and 12 sides were sold. Sales were up almost £50 when compared to a normal day menu the previous week.
Ivor was on hand with his vibrant and charismatic charm to engage with pupils and talked about his background, how Indian food has evolved around the world, an overview of the ingredients and some of the health benefits of Indian spices.

“I would give the food a 10/10”
“Can we have this every lunchtime!”
“the buroti was unique”
“it’s AMAZING!”
and finally “the drink was tangy, I like it”.
